AMERICA’S CRITICAL NEXT STEP IN ITS RETURN TO GOD: THE RENEWAL!
At a time when America’s “cup of iniquity” is nearly full – and God’s redemptive
judgments are awakening the Body of Christ to the lateness of the hour on the
prophetic clock – Global Strategic Alliance Founder and The Return Co-Founder
Rev. Kevin Jessip, Defending the Republic Founder Sidney Powell, MyPillow CEO
Mike Lindell, Times Square Church General Overseer Carter Conlon, The Return
Co-Founder Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Regeneration Nashville Pastor Kent Christmas
and many other faith and governmental leaders will speak at the Strawberry
Festival Amphitheater in Plant City, Florida on January 8, 2022. “The Renewal”
will be a faith-focused day of heritage, history, praise, worship, and prayer
dedicated to the American renewal of the covenant the Pilgrims made with God
four centuries ago. The event will be broadcast on major television networks and
simulcasted to thousands of churches worldwide.
PLANT CITY, FLORIDA – During a time of tyranny and oppression, not unlike what is
happening in America and around the world today, Exodus 1:8 says a “new king” came
to power in Egypt “who did not know Joseph,” and he forced the Hebrews to work as
Pharaoh believed the Hebrews had become too numerous, and if war broke out, that
they would join Egypt’s enemies and “fight against us” (Exodus 1:10). So, he gave an
order to his people: “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every
daughter you shall save alive” (Exodus 1:22).
In Scripture, Deuteronomy 1:8 says, “See, I have set the land before you. Go in and
take possession of the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac,
and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.”
Rev. Kevin Jessip, president of the Global Strategic Alliance and a descendant of
“Pilgrim Fathers” pastor John Robinson who sent the Pilgrims aboard the Mayflower to
America in 1620, says the parallels between this biblical story and what is happening
today are prescient.
The biblical parallelism provides the foundation for an historic convention on Saturday,
January 8 called “The Renewal: Restoring America’s Founding Covenant.” The event
will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time at the Strawberry Festival
Amphitheater in Plant City, Florida, just outside of Tampa.
“We have a spirit of oppression over America,” Jessip says. “In response, ‘The Renewal’
will re-covenant America back to the everlasting covenant our Pilgrim forefathers made
with God in the Mayflower Compact. They dedicated America to God and the
‘advancements of the Christian faith.’”
A host of speakers in ministry, government, military, and entertainment will gather and
share about America’s history, its spiritual foundations, and the importance of its
covenant with God. Top musical artists will lead worship.
The event will be broadcast on television and simulcasted online. Times Square Church
General Overseer Carter Conlon will be the keynote speaker, delivering an important
national and global message on the significance of the covenant.
Confirmed speakers include Sidney Powell, Rev. Kevin Jessip, Mike Lindell, Pastor
Carter Conlon, The Return Co-Founder and New York Times bestselling author Rabbi
Jonathan Cahn (The Harbinger, etc.), Hon. Louie Gohmert, David Barton, Michele
Bachmann, Pastor Kent Christmas, historian Bill Federer, Romans 911 author Grant
Berry, Maj. Gen. Bob Dees, Pastor Paul Blair, Lamplighter Ministries Founder Jon
Hamill, Col. David Giammona, Troy Anderson and others. Others invited to appear
include Anne Graham Lotz, Foundations of Freedom Founder Dave Dias, and others.
“It will be a historic day in America,” Jessip says. “This is a spiritual assembly to recovenant and come into agreement with God again.”
This global movement of prayer and repentance is spreading to all continents. It began
September 26, 2020, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. with “The Return:
National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance.” An estimated 250,000 people
attended the gathering and about forty-two million watched it on television or via
Based on the biblical template, “The Renewal” is the next step after “The Return,” says
Jessip, co-founder of The Return.
“‘The Renewal’ is about restoring our covenant with God,” Jessip says. “It started with
‘The Return’ with repentance, now we’re going through reconciliation and restoration,
which is renewing the covenant we broke with Almighty God. In ‘The Renewal,’ we are
saying, ‘Lord, have mercy on us in the midst of the redemptive judgments happening.’
“The fires, plagues, floods, and everything we are seeing are no different than the
redemptive judgments that ancient Egypt experienced known as the Ten Plagues of
Egypt. ‘The Renewal’ is a reconciliation and restoration of the covenant, which is part of
returning to God. It’s the next step. I believe after this renewal step that the revival is

Is America’s ‘Cup of Iniquity’ Nearly Full?
America is at a critical turning point in history. It has forgotten its heritage, values,
morality, integrity, and the eternal rules of order and right. This nation was founded upon
the Word of God that the Pilgrims brought to America aboard the Mayflower and
embedded in the Mayflower Compact.
America’s founding documents were then illuminated through the divine calling of the
Pilgrims to establish a nation that could freely worship God and partner with Him in
every aspect of life. The United States’ governing documents – the Declaration of
Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights – all echoed the voice of the Creator,
but America, as a nation, has turned away from God and is now rushing headlong
Only two nations in history made covenants with God, ancient Israel, and the United
States of America, and today America is replaying an ancient judgment mystery that
happened in the last days of ancient Israel before its destruction 2,700 years ago.
“One of the questions we’ll explore at ‘The Renewal’ is have we reached the fullness of
America?” Jessip asked. “Is there a time when the ‘cup of iniquity’ gets so full that
America comes to an end? Romans 11 explains the fullness concept and the Apostle
Paul uses the metaphor of two olives trees, one natural, representing Israel, and one
wild, representing the Gentiles.”
Romans 11:25 talks about the “fullness of the Gentiles” and other Scriptures speak of
the “cup of iniquity.” Are we at the point when God lifts his hand of protection and
Based on the biblical template, the “fullness of America” will arrive when four events
converge, as evangelist Perry Stone shared in his latest book, America’s Apocalyptic
• God’s sovereign purpose for the nation has been completed.
• The inhabitants of the land reject the Bible and its principles.
• People in the nation no longer repent and harden their hearts to the truth.
• Abominations become legal and acceptable laws to the majority of the people.
“When these four actions unite at the same time, the fullness of time will have arrived,”
America may not be destroyed or cease to exist, but when national sin and rejection of
God’s laws persist, according to the pattern in ancient Israel, the following will happen:
• God will permit the nation to be ruled by bad leaders.
• God will permit strangers to rise higher than His people.
• God will not deliver us from those who hate us.
• God will allow economic challenges.
• God will lift His hand of protection to allow natural disasters to take place.
The purpose of such distress is to lead people to repentance because only repentant
men and women can enter heaven.
“So, when national sins overtake the majority in a nation’s population, as it did in the
days of Noah, Scripture says the ‘cup of iniquity’ becomes full and often the ‘fullness of
iniquity’ is a trigger which releases the ‘fullness of time,’ which historically, leads to a
quick collapse of nations and empires,” Jessip says. “America is currently in the same
series of parallel cycles and as we know history will often repeat itself.”
“So, in a nutshell, America’s ‘fullness of time,’ it’s ‘cup of iniquity,’ is so full that its
teetering on the edge, and the things that happened in ancient Israel (before its
destruction) are now happening in America, including plagues.”
Many Americans believe the nation is at a tipping point. What are the biblical parallels
with ancient Israel? What does God require of us now? Why is “The Renewal” important
and what is the history of covenants in the Bible?
The Purpose of the Covenant
In Jeremiah 32:38, and many other Scriptures, God said, “They shall be My people and
I shall be their God”
Every covenant in the Old Testament gave a progressive revelation of who God is and
what His people are to be. In the covenant with Abraham, God showed His willingness
to walk through a covenant of death on our behalf and told us that our responsibility was
to keep His covenant.
Through the Mosaic covenant, God declared what He is like in His character and
explained through the law that He desired His people to be holy as He is holy. It is in the
covenant with David, however, that we see God’s purpose to redeem a people for His
own possession reach its highest fulfillment and revelation in the Old Testament.
Jesus Christ is the ultimate fulfillment of every one of the covenants; the entire Old
Testament points to Him.
Prior to the Davidic covenant, God had already established Himself as Lord of the
covenant. But now He manifests Himself as King.
God will no longer dwell in a mobile sanctuary that moves from place to place but will
establish His Throne in a central locality. Further, He will place a King over His kingdom
who will reign from that throne. It will be in a house that God will build, not the work of
The Davidic covenant is a prophetic picture of God establishing His dwelling place in the
hearts of men, where he will rule as absolute King over all their hearts. This house in
which He dwells will not be built by human hands nor by men’s programs and plans but
will be built by the operation of the Holy Spirit of God.
‘The Renewal’ Comes Amid Historic Anniversaries
“The Renewal” comes amid key dates in American history. First, on November 25,
Americans will celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first Thanksgiving. In November
1621, the Pilgrims and Wampanoag Indians gathered in Plymouth for an autumn
harvest celebration – an event regarded as America’s first Thanksgiving.
“This is the 400th anniversary, so we will renew the covenant that the Pilgrims made with
God in the Mayflower Compact, which was drafted, ‘In the name of God, Amen,’” Jessip
The Mayflower Compact became an inspiration and model to the drafters of the
Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and early state
constitutions. The verbiage and underlying doctrine of the Mayflower Compact emerged
as a prelude to the American system of government launched in 1776.
The Mayflower Compact was a binding covenant of the signers and future generations
establishing a form of republican representative government under God, according to
the Leyden Preservation Group in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
“Implicit to the Compact was the presumption that the enjoyment of economic liberties
and social freedoms are predicated on the relationship between religion, public virtue,
the consent of the governed through their representatives, and the rule of law under
God,” according to the Leyden Preservation Group. “Though imperfectly applied, these
presumptions became the dominant worldview of liberty for the building American
nation, one which was declared from colonial pulpits and enshrined in the declarations
and constitutions of American legislative bodies.
“What ultimately followed was a Declaration of Independence based on similar
presumptions. These included the assertion that ‘all men are created equal’ under the
law by God and in possession of ‘inalienable rights’ ordained by Him, which could not be
suspended by the state. These include the right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness.’ They were further enumerated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to
include freedom of religious worship, speech, public assembly, and the authority of the
biblically-rooted Christian ‘common law’ which was incorporated by reference.”
Jerry Perera, the chief operating officer at the Leyden Preservation Group, says
America has long been a “lighthouse” to the world, spreading the Gospel and advancing
the Christian faith, just as the Pilgrims wrote in the Mayflower Compact when they
dedicated America to God.
“America has been given that mantle and that mandate,” Perera says. “And if there is
going to be repentance and renewal, I suspect America should be the leader. That is
number one. Number two, there is something significant about four hundred years. I
remember the inter-testamentary period of four hundred years of silence (between the
Old and New Testaments) and then the Messiah comes. There is the four hundred
years of captivity (of the Hebrews in Egypt) and then the deliverer (Moses) comes.
“America is quite unusual. It was four hundred years ago that (the Pilgrims) were freed
from tyranny, and it appears that four hundred years later, we are experiencing tyranny
to a degree Americans have not seen before. And that is why I think the timing of what
Kevin (Jessip) and ‘The Renewal’ are doing is so important. There’s timing; there is a
culmination. There are the (prophetic) seasons and (the Bible) speaks of end times and
perilous times. We are seeing signs of perilous times. It is God’s people who are called
to be salt and light, to be the human agency of the Spirit of God working on the earth at
2022 Will Be a ‘Cleansing Year’
“The Renewal” also comes amid the 49th anniversary of the landmark U.S. Supreme
Court decision, Roe v. Wade, on January 22, 1973, which legalized abortion in America.
Since then, over sixty-two million babies have been aborted in the United States.
“This year of 2022 is going to be a cleansing year when God will go through His House
and America and sweep it clean,” Jessip says. “January 22 is the celebration of the 49th
year of what happened in 1973 when the Supreme Court legalized abortion, so we are
going into the 50th year, a Jubilee time, a Shemitah year, so I believe in 2022 we will be
successful in overturning Roe v. Wade and if we don’t, God have mercy on us.
“When you turn to Exodus 1:22, the verse talks about the Pharaoh decreeing the deaths
of every Hebrew boy by throwing them into the Nile. The same day that Pharaoh
decreed the deaths of Hebrew children is the same day 49 years ago that the Supreme
Court legalized abortion. It must end, and it will end in 2022 on our watch.
“‘The Renewal’ is not about abortion; it is about re-covenanting with God, but one thing
we must do is end abortion. Number two is the sanctity of marriage. We must redefine
that biblical marriage is between a man and a woman. That must be changed. We also
need to return prayer and Bible reading to our educational systems and proudly display
and teach the Ten Commandments.”
At an awards ceremony during ‘The Renewal,’ the first-ever John Robinson Awards will
be given to five individuals for their work in preserving America’s freedoms and liberties,
advancing the work of the Kingdom of God, protecting America’s heritage and history,
supporting ministries spreading the Gospel, and serving as watchdogs for the values
and God-given rights of believers.
